Dr Wenham is a health and safety professional with over 40 years’ experience in enforcement (HSE inspector), expert witness (criminal and civil), university lecturer, consultant, course development and management, examiner.  He has excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.  He has the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Experience of giving evidence

Since 1995, Dr Wenham has given oral evidence in both criminal and civil cases, including an inquest. He is a university certificated Expert Witness in both Criminal and Civil Law.

Cases undertaken

Dr Wenham has been instructed and provided reports on behalf of claimants, prosecution and defendants. This includes public bodies, large and small businesses as well as employees at all levels.

He is happy to consider cases involving:

  • The management of health and safety at work including policy, leadership, competence, supervision, training and co-operation;
  • Issues to do with risk and risk assessment;
  • Exposure to noise including noise risk assessments;
  • Falls from height.
