Mr Jeremy Birch is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at both the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He has a specialist interest in breast reconstruction and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
Mr Birch graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1993. After his general surgical training, he went on to complete a Doctorate in microsurgery under Professor Sir Peter Bell, before specialising in plastic surgery. He took up his consultant post at the John Radcliffe Hospital in 2007.
During this time, he has developed a specialist interest in breast surgery including reconstruction and shaping following mastectomy. He is also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions, for which he is a member of the specialist skin multidisciplinary teams in both Oxford and Swindon.
