Profile
Mr Farmer graduated as a dentist in 1988 and has worked in general dental practice throughout his career. He currently works two days a week in private practice with an interest in Root Canal Treatment for which he takes referrals. Jonathan has worked for NHSE as a clinical adviser since 2009 advising on complaints, professional standards including record keeping as well as contractual compliance. He is a decision making panel member for NHSE professional and performance panels. Jonathan is a Training Programme Director for Health Education England assessing and supporting new dental graduates. Mr Farmer is currently undertaking a Master’s Degree in Law and Medical Practice at Cardiff University and is due to graduate in 2023.
Experience of giving evidence
Mr Farmer’s clinical experience and Law Master’s degree allow him to produce reports for both claimants and defendants. He strives to stay abreast of the developments in the law that impact upon dentistry.
Availability
Mr Farmer is available all days except Monday and Thursday, he is able to complete reports within 7-14 days. Online and in person consultations can be offered.
