Frances spent eleven years working for a local authority, undertaking child protection/care proceedings work, kinship care assessments, and all tasks associated with children in care/children being placed for adoption.  Frances has been an independent social worker for three years, and in that time she has undertaken a wide variety of work including in the field of fostering and adoption.  Frances’s particular strengths are being able to effectively build relationships, communicate in complex situations with children, families, carers & professionals, and being empathetic, open minded, fair and rational.

  • MA Social Work (University of Birmingham)
  • Post Qualifying Specialist Diploma in Social Work with Children, Young People, their Families and Carers (University of Birmingham).
